In the frontal impact, the head of the 3 year dummy, sat in a forward-facing restraint, exceeded recommended limits, exposing the head to possible contact with the car's interior. However, in the side barrier impact, both the 3 year and the 18 month dummies were properly contained by their restraints. The passenger airbag can be disabled to allow a rearward facing child restraint to be used in that seating position. However, information provided to the driver regarding the status of the airbag is not sufficietntly clear.

The passenger compartment remained stable in the frontal impact. Structures in the dashboard presented a risk of injury to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. The Cube scored maximum points for its performance in the side barrier test. In the more sever side pole impact, the dummy's ribs deflections indicated marginal protection of the chest but other body regions were well protected. Marginal protection was provided against whiplash injuries in a rear-end collision.
